For me it's the best shave soap there is. No irritation or bumps after a shave.

    Out of can

I wish it was easy to get out of the can to put in my shave cup. Other than that it's great. I've never had a bad Clubman product.

I really love Clubman products and I have been using the aftershave for years. So needless to say, I really wanted to like the shave soap as well. However, there just isn’t anything to like about it. I’m so shocked by all of the great reviews and then my experience being so different, I thought about ordering another one to give it a second chance but that makes no sense I used the entire bowl. It lathers ok but there is no substance to the soap, none of the protective lubrications that I feel with any other shave soaps I use, including the economy brands. The container is too small to work up a good lather with a normal sized brush so you will need to use another shaving bowl for that. It’s just over all a disappointing product. I still love clubman though and will definitely order other items. Maybe this one can be improved or maybe I just got a bad batch lol. CLUBMAN ONLINE RESPONSE: Hi, Phillip. We're sorry you were disappointed in Clubman's shave soap. The reality is everyone has different expectations of what they like, which is normal. Clubman shave soap isn't a huge lather soap. Instead, you just need a slightly damp brush to get a heavy, thin coat on the face. Maybe give this a try and see what you think. We're glad you still like other Clubman products and we do sell other beautiful lathering soaps such as from DR Harris in England. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Basic shave soap

Posted by Eric Adams on 7th Dec 2021

I was a little surprised by how simple this soap is considering Clubman is known for so many fragrances. This has essentially none. It does lather well and provides good slickness with a nice post-shave feel. I guess I just expected something more vibrant.

Clubman Pinaud Shave Soap, stays moist for the entire shave!

I find this shave soap to be superb. It lathers nicely, goes on with a thich and rich lather and stays moist for the entire shave. It also has a good masculine scent. I look forward to my shave time with Clubman's shave soap!

    Clubman Shave Soap

This is the best shave soap that I have ever used! It lathers well and gives the closest shave with non irritation and has a pleasant scent! Being in the closable container allows it to be carried when traveling to keep up the smooth shaves!
