This is corn starch based and while it absorbs a little it's not as effective as talc. Still smells great.

I love this new whiskey woods powder! Although I love the original pinaud clubman talc line this just has a great masculine scent to it that doesn't overpower. Last Christmas I gifted several clubman products as gifts to my Father,Brother,and Father in law!

Great price and smells awesome too. No complaints with the effectiveness either. Never used a powder before but this is now a must have.
