Jeris Osage Rub - 14 oz

This is one of those rare times a product lived up to expectations! I added the Osage Rub to my "basket" last year and it has been part of my daily routine ever since. The scent is reminiscent of my childhood barber shop when they would slather it on your head at the end. It has a great scent and the tingly-burn is very refreshing as I get ready to head out for work. The scent only lasts for a short time so it doesn't over power your cologne.

This has been around for over 50 years and used to be a staple at the barbershop when I was a kid. It is just as nice today after a shower or a day in the sun. A few shakes on your scalp and a minute later your whole head is invigorated by the menthol cooling your scalp. I love the feeling in the morning and whenever it is hot outside. I strongly recommend!

I had read other reviews that talked about a refreshing tingle when applied to the scalp. I have not experienced that effect. The fragrance is mentholated and longer lasting than I would like. It overpowers my after shave which is my preferred scent.

Powerful cooling tonic with menthol and eucylyptus. So great in the hot weather and great as an aftershave too.

My barber mentioned that he uses Jeris Osage Rub as is mainstay as it refreshes the skin and scalp after shaving. When I finally found it I gave it a shot and...WOW! It cools and opens up your senses but most of all it feels great and can be used year-round. Great for early morning shaves!

This is one of those products that you love!! Love the old time barbershop smell. I use a derby style razor to shave with and after I shave rub this all over face a neck and it tightens the skin.. It burns and tingles at the same time. It really refreshes you after a early morning shave I'm talking 3.00 am morning.This is one of those rare occasions when you find a product that you enjoy using.

Was a bit worried at first when I opened the bottle and it smelled like Scope Mouthwash. That smell fades out quickly, though, and gives way to the menthol, which is very similar to Aqua Velva. Feels cool and refreshing on the scalp and feet. Love it.
