GREAT SMELL, DRY HAIR
I couldn't wait to try this old fashioned hair tonic, but was a little disappointed. It smells great, but doesn't hold my hair like I had hoped. It actually leaves my hair dryer looking than when I don't use anything. This might be because I have very dry and frizzy hair. I find this product works best to mask the smell of original hair tonic - I used generic hair tonic from CVS, which holds my hair just great but is greasy and smells horrible - so I re-apply a "top coat" of the Pinaud. I won't repurchase this when my bottle is empty, but I might try the Clubman Original Tonic.

Good shampoo and very affordable
I like as little fuss as possible when growing and this product fits that category well

James Bond used the Shampoo.
The famous James Bond in the novel 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' used this (when it was a shampoo) and called it "...that Prince among shampoos". I hope Pinaud reads this and will at least contemplate making the shampoo again. But at *least* we can still get the hair tonic. It smells absolutely outstanding and great if you have dandruff and dry hair. The price is insanely LOW. Thank you Pinaud, and here is wishing you another 100 years of success. Bring back the shampoo!
