Old-Fashioned and Classy
I can't say that it gets rid of dandruff, because after 2 years of using it, I still get it on occasion. However, it will offer you nice control with your hair in conjunction with other hair products. I start with a dousing of Eau de Quinine (after getting my hair damp dry), add a little solidified brilliantine, then follow that up with a little Clubman hair gel. The three really work together well, and it gives you control without getting clumpy or stiff. Eau de Quinine has a classic smell to it that will accent your style quite a lot if you are going for a sophisticated and old-fashioned quality. The smell is distinctive, and perhaps not to everyone's liking, but I find it to be perfect for my needs. When I am going for a lighter smell, I use Eau de Portugal, which has the strong smell of oranges.

Excellent Product!
I have been using this product for a couple weeks on my hair and have noticed the difference. My hair is more manageable. I have wavy hair and this helps keep it straight. Also, Clubman online was excellent in getting the product to me. super fast shipping and a pleasure to do business with..

Wow
Very unique hair product, not a very strong hold, but for the high temperature in Queensland, it has a strong masculine aroma.. The girls will love it.

Just right hold
I work this into my towel dried damp hair until it is quite dry. Then comb it as i like it. I do have to put one small squirt of hairspray at the back of my part where i have short flyaways. But the rest of my head this perfect. Just enough hold. Comb-able and my wife loves it being soft to touch. She also loves the scent

Fresh Barber Shop
Love this stuff. Old school barber shop fragrance. Generous sized bottle should last a while too.

What a good product
What a good product - if you want to look like a slicked down gangster from New Jersy

Great smell, non-greasy
I love the smell of this tonic. It is non-greasy, but probably because of that, has very little holding power. I can use it when my hair is longer, but just after a cut, I have to go back to my old standby, Brylcreem. But if you're sporting a longer hairstyle, don't want wet-head (as they used to call it), this is an excellent tonic for you.

GREAT SMELL, DRY HAIR
I couldn't wait to try this old fashioned hair tonic, but was a little disappointed. It smells great, but doesn't hold my hair like I had hoped. It actually leaves my hair dryer looking than when I don't use anything. This might be because I have very dry and frizzy hair. I find this product works best to mask the smell of original hair tonic - I used generic hair tonic from CVS, which holds my hair just great but is greasy and smells horrible - so I re-apply a "top coat" of the Pinaud. I won't repurchase this when my bottle is empty, but I might try the Clubman Original Tonic.
