I've spent a couple years looking for the right hair product for me. I've tried pomades, tonics, gels, you name it. I've never been totally sold on any of them, and frankly many of them were awful -- especially the greasy products. Clubman's hair tonics -- I use l'Eau de Portugal and in the summer Osage Rub -- come in second place. But they don't really hold the hair. It's this gel that takes the cake. It gets the job done (a) with a mild, pleasant scent, (b) with all-day results, (c) without flakes, and (d) it easily washes out. Or you can just run hands through your hair and pretty much take the 'do' apart if you want to. This gel is king. Tried and tested, it beats everything else I've used.

Just a little of it holds, and it's not greasy, and it's economical as all get out.

Hair gel is one the greatest inventions ever for those with incredibly straight hair...like me. I have typically used a typical OTC product, such as LA Looks. I purchased Clubman gel for the first time recently and the results have been great. It gives great hold without a greasy feel or look. It has a very clean smell without being overwhelming. I plan on purchasing a squeeze tube for my travel kit...and hope that the company will consider a pump bottle dispenser to give the user better control over the amount used.

I thought I would never again enjoy this product when my local stores quit putting it on the shelf. I've used and loved this gel for more than 15 years and I love it. I've experimented with other hair gels but always came back to Clubman. I don't know what happened with my local stores or why they stopped carrying the product but as long as I can get what I need through Clubman direct, I'm good. Thank you Clubman for always putting out a great quality product.
