Love it - would buy it for the scent alone.

I love this hair tonic! While it doesn't really control the hair in a 'hard' way like a gel, it makes my hair softer, more manageable, and keeps it more 'compact,' so to speak, without weighing it down. Plus it smells so good, I've used it as aftershave on a couple of occasions (crazy, I know). I love it!

    Nice old-school tonic sans oil

I like the feel, the effect, the scent that has subtle changes throughout my 12hr+ workday. Wife doesn't care for it......oh well.

    Classic

This tonic works well. Was unsure if it would leave my hair looking oily or greasy but it doesn't, just enough hold and its dry looking. Seems to be helping my hair look healthier too.

    Unique Scent

The scent of Quinine is slightly bitter, kind of like quinine and pomegranate. It is a very male, clean scent. It keeps your hair slightly wet but dries in about an hour and gives you a dry, loose hair style that is slightly managed by the product. It works just fine.

    Excellent for your hair!

I have been using this almost daily for 3 years and love this product. My only regret is that I did not take pictures of my hair before using this to show how much better my hair is for using this.

    I just like this stuff

I couldn't tell you exactly what this stuff does, or how it works, or why, but I can tell you that I just like it. It's got an interesting scent, and it holds your hair in place. No, not like a heavy gel or cream, but for a very natural look that still has some control, try this.

    Old-Fashioned and Classy

I can't say that it gets rid of dandruff, because after 2 years of using it, I still get it on occasion. However, it will offer you nice control with your hair in conjunction with other hair products. I start with a dousing of Eau de Quinine (after getting my hair damp dry), add a little solidified brilliantine, then follow that up with a little Clubman hair gel. The three really work together well, and it gives you control without getting clumpy or stiff. Eau de Quinine has a classic smell to it that will accent your style quite a lot if you are going for a sophisticated and old-fashioned quality. The smell is distinctive, and perhaps not to everyone's liking, but I find it to be perfect for my needs. When I am going for a lighter smell, I use Eau de Portugal, which has the strong smell of oranges.

INGREDIENTS:
Alcohol Denat., Water (Aqua, Eau), Fragrance (Parfum), Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Citronellol, Eugenol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Green 3 (CI42053), Red 33 (CI 17200), Red 40 (CI16035).
Apply directly to the palms of the hands, rub together and apply directly to the scalp. Massage into scalp to help remove light, flaky dandruff. May be used as often as desired.
